This notice explains what information Property Motion collects, why, and what you can do about it. Property Motion is run by [company or trading name], [registered address] (“we”). For anything in this notice, write to hello@propertymotion.org.

Your photos stay on your computer

Videos are assembled in your web browser. Your original, full-resolution photos are never uploaded to our servers, and the finished videos are saved straight to your device. We never store them.

When you generate a video, the only thing sent to our server about your photos is a fingerprint of each one: a short code that can’t be turned back into the image. We use it to recognise a re-cut of the same video, which is free for 10 minutes. The property details you type are used on your own computer to draw the on-screen titles; we keep only the property name, to show in your account history.

If we add automatic room naming in future, we’ll update this notice before it is switched on.

What we keep

• Account: your email address, your name if you give it, and your password stored only in scrambled (hashed) form.
• Plan and usage: your plan, credits, renewal date, and a history of videos made (property name, number of photos, length and format) so you can see what your credits were spent on.
• Security: a scrambled form of your internet address, for up to 24 hours, to limit repeated sign-in attempts and protect the service from abuse.
• Payments: when paid plans go live, payments are handled by [payment provider]. We never see or store your card details.

Why we use it

To provide the service you signed up for (contract), to keep it secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interests), and to meet tax and accounting duties once you pay for a plan (legal obligation). We don’t sell your information and we don’t use it for advertising.

Cookies and storage

We use one essential cookie, pm_session, to keep you signed in for up to 30 days. Your browser also remembers your last style, length, format, soundtrack and agent details on your own device so you don’t have to type them again. No advertising or analytics cookies are used. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your internet address when a page loads.

Who else is involved

Our website host, [Hostinger International Ltd, or your host], and, once connected, our payment provider.

How long we keep it

For as long as you have an account. When you delete your account from the Account page, your account, history and credits are removed straight away. Records we must keep for tax purposes are kept for [the period required by law].

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your information, or object to how we use it, by writing to hello@propertymotion.org. If you’re unhappy with our reply you can complain to [the Information Commissioner’s Office (UK) or your local data protection authority].
